I’m in my boots I hit the hardwood floor,
He laid his cards down chilled me right to the core
He locked me in with his hungry eyes
Then he branded me like I could be his wife
Before you know I did a 180 turn
I left that man with a memory to burn
I walked out the door and I never looked back
I said listen honey
I dodged a bullet, I dodged a bullet
Well he came at me with his 45 on
Sweet talkin’, dead man walkin’
Bullet, I ran straight from it
He’s a real big shot with his 45 on
Sweet talkin’, dead man walkin’
As he slid my drink down the bar to me
I sipped his potion and I could hardly breathe
He played the same cards with every single girl
Told them pretty lies then destroyed their world
I still believed
I still believed
I still believed you when you walked all over me
You can’t conceive how you’re deceived
You pulled my trigger now I’m walkin’ over you
